Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah
I was born in this city. I've traveled around the world since, and it's still one of my favorites. Beautifully preserved Spanish colonial buildings, some almost five centuries old, line the cobblestone streets inside the city's imposing stone walls. The smell of Caribbean spices, the percussive rhythms of salsa music, and the creative energy of impressive artists fill the air. Old San Juan, Puerto Rico
The fallen city of Ayutthaya, once the gleaming capital of Thailand for 400 years spanning the reigns of 34 kings...now a crumbling ruin where the echoes of songbirds fill the trees which shade picnicking young couples from the midday sun.
